Maryellen Holden

Maryellen has been a Director of the Bristol Tramps since the fall of 2001. She became the M.C. of the Bristol Tramps Sports Reunion Dinner in 2008, and became a member of the Executive Board in 2011. Honored with the Tramps’ Lydia Jabs Bailey Award in 2001, and inducted into the Bristol Sports Hall of Fame in 2013, Maryellen was also honored to be the first woman to receive the Peter J. McGovern Distinguished Service Award in 2014, the highest honor bestowed to a volunteer by Little League Baseball, Inc. An avid Little League volunteer, she is an Assistant District Administrator for CT. 5 Little League, a member of the Forestville Village Association, and serves on several scholarship committees. Maryellen was married to Kevin Holden for 37 years until his death in 2014. She has two children, Eileen Holden and Patrick Holden, a daughter in law Cathy Gombotz, and a granddaughter, Piper Holden.  Maryellen has been teaching Spanish at Chase Collegiate School for thirty-nine years.
