Larry has been a member of the Bristol Tramps since the fall of 2019. He has been a volunteer baseball coach at McCabe Waters Little League and the Bristol Recreation Senior Baseball League. He has served as a member of the Bristol United Way and the City of Bristol Planning Commission. Larry was a member and past president of the Senior Member of the Forestville Boys Club. He was a past recipient of the Bristol Jaycees Man of the Year Award.

Larry has been married to his wife Janice for the past 38 years and has 2 married children and 3 grandchildren. Larry was an entrepreneur, creating and managing an IT consulting firm for 30 years. After a successful merger with Barry-Wehmiller International, for the last 6 years, Larry has managed the ERP Solutions Practice at Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, LLC
