Joe Tavera has been a Director of The Bristol Tramps since 2008. He started serving on the Awards Nomination Committee in 2011, and became Treasurer in 2016. He has been Co-President of the BCHS All Sports Booster Club, and the St. Anthony School Booster Club. Joe was one of the original coaches of the Bristol Soccer club in 1977. He also coached basketball, baseball and soccer on the Elementary School level. Joe played High school soccer and basketball.  He is married to Chris Tavera since 1985.  He has two sons, Joey and DJ. Joe Graduated from the University of Connecticut and is owner of Tavera Tile.
