Carolyn C. Ziogas

Carolyn has been a committee member and legal advisor since 2009.  In 2016, she became the Executive Director. 

Carolyn is an attorney and has been employed by the Connecticut Judicial Department for the past 36 years. Carolyn is the Chief Clerk of the Supreme and Appellate System in Hartford where she also serves on the Human Capital Committee, the Appellate E-filing Committee and the Advisory Committee on Appellate Rules. She graduated magna cum laude from of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Economics and a minor in Spanish and was inducted into Phi Betta Kappa National Honor Society. She received her juris doctorate degree from Western New England School of Law.

 She is a founding member and former advisory board member of the Women and Girls’ Fund of the Main Street Community Foundation and is an active advisor for the Immediate Response Fund. She is a past president and officer of the Bristol Central High School All Sports Booster Club and the Bristol Central High School Football Booster Club. 

Carolyn is married to Mark Ziogas and has three children, Stephen, Jenna and Kayla Ziogas of San Diego, CA and Port Angeles, WA. Her father in law, James Ziogas was an original and lifetime member of this organization.
