Coach Dan Valerio

The Coach Dan Valerio Committee Award

Coach Dan Valerio was a lifelong Bristol resident. He started his coaching career in 1937 at the Bristol Boys Club. He was also the catcher for the Bristol Tramps team in the 1940s. He was an officer of the Bristol Tramps and a founding volunteer “Uncle” for the annual Eastern Regional Little League Tournament. The Coach Dan Valerio Committee Award is given to an individual (or organization) recognized for outstanding service or contribution to Bristol sports.
