The Ron Choiniere Award
Ron participated and excelled in track, gymnastics, swimming and bowling. He participated in the Soapbox Derby for years and had a car sponsored in the Special Division. Ron attended Bristol Central High School, where he earned a varsity letter and jacket for the most dedicated manager and fan for the wrestling team. Ron received the Bill Garret Award in 1992 for his contributions to sports. The individual nominated must be a person involved in sports with a disability.
