Ed Lodovico was Manager and Treasurer of the Bristol Tramps Basketball team and assisted Julie Larese in promoting and scheduling games. The Bristol Tramps played games state-wide and competed against the Harlem Globetrotters and Harlem Magicians at times. Ed was active as a member, officer and sports promoter for the West End Athletic Club and the Sons of Italy sports teams. Along with Julie Larese, he also promoted boxing and wrestling matches. Ed was one of the original founders of the Bristol Tramps Sports Reunion Dinner.
